I just bought the MK Blu-rays (both, I love me some Annihilation stupidity) and I was watching the first film and I just loved the lighting on the boat scene. So I decided to paint Sonya, my favourite character, as she appeared during this scene. I've never done anything inspired by the movies before so I strived to get the actress, Bridgette Wilson's likeness down as much as I could.
As far as video-game-to-movie adaptations go, the first film is probably the second best effort, ever - following the first Tomb Raider. The second is a film barely worthy of SyFy but I still love it.
Bridgette Wilson did a great job playing Sonya. The character's portrayal now is probably hugely influenced by her performance back in '95.
